Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on the 18th of November 1985, in Los Angeles. Felix's father Paul Felix is an ordained Minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. Her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was aware that she had a talent in running while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial attempt she made her skills, she placed 2nd in the 200m race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed her high school education and was signed to an agreement for Adidas. In 2004 she enrolled in an institution called the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic prize at the 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s, setting a new junior world record. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world in running 200m. She won the title in 2007. defended her title by beating Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at her first Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo consistently placing within the top three of her events.
